Twenty-eight Harford Community College students were inducted into the Gamma Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Delta Nu Honor Society for Associate Degree Nurses on June 5 in Darlington Hall.

Laura Cianelli Preston, Dean of Nursing and Allied Health Professions, spoke to the students, offering congratulatory remarks. The inductees received pins and cords to wear at the pinning ceremony and commencement upon the completion of their associate degree. Family and friends attended the ceremony to celebrate their loved one’s academic achievement and viewed the poster projects presented by the inductees.

In order to be inducted, students had to maintain at least a 3.0 GPA in all nursing courses as well as conduct themselves in ways that reflect integrity and professionalism. The students also completed various service projects across Harford County.
