Finance and Administration

The Office of the Vice President for Finance and Administration is committed to providing excellent, inventive, and responsive services to Harford Community College. 

Finance and Administration is responsible for planning, development, and management of the fiscal, administrative, infrastructure, and operational functions of the College. 

Functional Units

Alumni and College Development

Leads all alumni relations and outreach, directs the HCC Foundation, and manages college fundraising to advance the mission of HCC.

Capital Projects

Capital Projects is responsible for planning and developing the College's properties and facilities.

College Store

The College Store is located in the lower level of the Student Center and is your source for textbooks, study aids, art and office supplies, computer software, and more.

Distribution Services

Distribution Services is responsible for campus mail delivery, courier services, vending services and more.

Environmental and Occupational Health

This office is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing the various environmental and occupation health and safety programs that promote safe and healthful conditions for students, employees, and visitors.

Facilities Maintenance

Facilites Maintenance serves the college community through the maintenance of its facilities and grounds and 24/7 operation of the heating and cooling plants.

Finance and Accounting

Finance and Accounting provides College oversight in relation of the budget, accounting services, financial reporting, fixed assets, student accounts, cash management, and administrative support for the College's auxiliary enterprises.


Housekeeping is responsible for routine cleaning of the College's facilities to ensure an environment that supports learning.

Human Resources

The Human Resources department strives to attract and retain the highest quality workforce. This is achieved through offering comprehensive benefits, competitive compensation, training and professional development, and a work environment that fosters collaboration and personal development.


The Procurement department ensures compliance with college and state policy and procedures in procuring goods and services for HCC and is responsible for the administration of contracts and purchase orders.

Public Safety

Public Safety has the primary responsibility to provide a safe and secure environment for all employees, students, and visitors to the College on a 24/7 basis.  443-412-2272
