STEM Mentoring Program

Harford Community College is partnering with the US Army RDECOM Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center (CERDEC) to provide STEM students with an e-mentoring relationship. 

This educational partnership is designed to connect students interested in pursuing careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) with a mentor from the Engineering and Cyber Intelligence fields.  Selected students will  develop a working relationship with their mentor through weekly email and text communications. Providing support and encouragement, mentors will assist students create links between what they learn in the classroom and how it applies to the professional work environment.

Who Should Apply?

HCC students majoring in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Cyber Defense, Engineering, Information Security Systems, Mathematics, or Physics who have completed at least 12 credits in the last academic year.
